Abstract

A novel design of hybrid coupler with widebandhaving threeports is presented   in this paper which mainly includes of a wide band phase shifter with power-divider, along with redesigned coupled line shows a designed model working at 1 GHz to 2.6 GHz with wideband bandwidth. According to simulated results, the coupler shows    bandwidth of 88% with -12 dB return loss and 90o ±5 phase shifting which is approximately 0.5 dB separates the imbalance in amplitude among the two ports at output. As a result, the suggested coupler is ideally suited for wideband circularly polarized antenna feeding system.
